The Central Regional Ethics Committee is responsible for reviewing proposals for research that is to be carried out entirely within the following district health board regions:

If a proposal involves a single study locality within these district health board regions, or multiple study localities all of which are within these district health board regions, then it should be considered by the Central Regional Ethics Committee.
