23 Jul: Research involving ionising radiation
The National Radiation Laboratory (NRL) is no longer available to assess research that involves ionising radiation not needed for patient management, as per part B16 of the National Application Form (see also appendix 4 to the NAF Guidelines). Instead, you should contact a medical physics expert to assess that the radiation dose calculations are accurate, and that the radiation risks are clearly explained to potential participants.
